Tricia Parish is an accomplished vocalist and acoustic guitarist who’s original and cover tunes will soothe your soul. Canadian born, Tricia’s influences have been no other than Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, Sheryl Crow, Sarah Mclachlan, Shawn Colvin and Shania Twain. Her music can be categorized as folksy country rock. Growing up in Connecticut, she started playing the guitar at age 15 and has been singing since she was 2 years old, according to her mother. She attended the University of Colorado-Boulder and earned a bachelors degree in psychology, with a minor in music and a member of the University Choir. She’s been a part of numerous bands during the years but none were as successful as the one she started with her husband of two years, the Tricia Parish Band. Her recently released CD, titled the Tricia Parish Album, is sold at her various gigs and on Itunes, Amazon and Tunecore, along with her website triciaparish.com.
